The apostolic exhortation Dilexi te (“I Have Loved You”) by Pope Leo XIV strongly recalls the heart of the Gospel: the boundless love of Christ, who bends down to every person and in a special way to those who carry the weight of fragility. The Pope invites the Church not to fear closeness, not to set limits on love, and to recognize in the poor a privileged presence of the Lord. It is an appeal calling for open communities, capable of listening, care, and concrete choices in favor of the least, because — as the Holy Father reminds us — “it is not enough to speak of love; it must be lived.”
In this perspective, our Concerto con i Poveri also finds its place, now reaching its sixth edition as a sign of friendship, shared beauty, and fraternity. Through music, we wish to offer a dignified and joyful experience to those who are often denied cultural and relational spaces. The concert thus becomes a small gesture of a Church that walks alongside the most vulnerable, embracing the invitation of Dilexi te to recognize, serve, and love Christ precisely where life is most wounded.
